Please note that the PVA's Office does not set property tax rates, issue tax bills, collect property taxes, or enact laws affecting property owners. Our responsibility is to ensure that all property assessments comply with Kentucky law. By statute, all Property Valuation Administrators are required to assess property at 100% of its fair market value.
